Vastu Tips for Main or Entrance Door: What to Avoid

Avoid slanting, sliding or circular opening entrances.

1. Avoid having main door facing directly to another home’s main entrance.
2. Avoid main door directly facing a compound wall.

4. Avoid any shadows on main door especially shadows of other buildings, plants etc.
5. Don’t keep shoes in front of main entrance, keep them at a side.
6. Don’t keep garbage or dustbin near main entrance as they emit negative energy.
7. Avoid automatic closing main doors.
8. Avoid main entrance facing intersecting roads.
9. Avoid main door at center of any wall.
10. Avoid black color for main door.
11. Avoid temples or any other religious place directly in-front of main entrance.
12. Avoid obstructing things like poles, trees, wires etc, in front of main entrance.
13. Avoid arched windows and doors as they distort positive energy pattern.
