Foundation Drawings: A foundation plan is a drawing or illustration that shows the footings, piers, or structural underpinnings needed to support the building. a.       Depending on where you build, only certain types of foundations can be used. For instance, areas near the ocean are not ideal for basement foundations.

Reinforcement Drawings: Reinforcement drawings (or details), fully describe and locate all reinforcement in relation to the finished surface of the concrete and to any holes or fixings. They are primarily for the use of the steel fixers and it is preferable that they are kept separate from the general arrangement drawing.

Column and Footing Drawings: This includes the locations and sizes of Column with footing detail. It also includes the detail of Steel to be used in different column and its footing. All in all you can say it includes the section of columns.

Beam and Tie-beam Drawings: This includes the locations and sizes of Beams and it’s tying location in slab. It also includes the detail of Steel to be used in different beams. Sizes of beams are decided on the basis of load calculation done by engineers.

Slab Casting and Shuttering Drawings: Last but not the least, slab casting and shuttering drawings will help to understand the thickness of concrete slab including the steel details.
